last week was told this was the reason for my engine management light coming on.vauxhall wanted £130 for the part and wanted 2 hours labour to fix it,obviously i declined.so i bought the part from autovaux(£100) and fitted it myself last night and it took me all of 15 minutes.moral of the story vauxhall are rip off bastards

was it hard to fit? i heard that u can just blank them and trick the car into thinking it still works properly?

really easy to fit.i've heard people say you can blank it off but my corsa is a 1l 12v and you cant do it on these as coolant actually passes through it.

i think my erg's on it's way out. i got some blanking plates for it but havn't got a clue where to start 
got a feeling it's gonna be harder than 1.0 12v cause i've got a 1.6 16v with air con so very little room to work in

got blanking plates off Stu_22 off here. can't remember how much they were, weren't much tho

the position on the 12v is really good its on the right hand side just behind the oil filter so its a wee bit cramped but not to bad not got a clue where it is on the 1.6 though
