RX7??

The thought of the engine blowing up scares me

Also would have to be a cheap as chips one! 5k ish.Would insurance be cheaper than the WRX????

I wouldnt bother...for 5k your gonna get a high miler...

Besides havnt you justs spent hundreds on the scooby with cambelt etc...

i wudnt ! not unless you have plenty ov cash if something does go wrong! not a car to be had if ur on a tight budget

Yeah just been looking and there 6K plus plus even for J reg's with high ish milage

Spent loads on the WRX and never thought i would sell it but it seems like a bottomless pit at the moment.

u can get a good 1 for 4k at the import auctions in manchester then about 500 to get it legal and registered. my mate paid 3.5k for an Lreg he has since blown it up rebuilding it himself is costing around 2k for a garage to do the work ur lookinh at about3.5-4k

Sell your Scooby and buy a C reg Ford Fiesta 1.1 Pop if your after cheap and affordable.. that way you dont give a toss if it blows up..

or alternatively keep the scooby till youc an afford something better and newer!

Also the scoob probably feels like a bottom less pit at the moment coz your getting it right...once you have everything done then it wont seem as bad...

To add to that...get a cheap £500 runabout and keep the scooby for weekend use...

It will work out cheaper over the year paying the 2 lots of insurance etc than putting miles on the scooby

i was very close to buying a rx7 ,,, lovely quick cars ,, if ur going to buy one make sure it has had a engine rebuild..

please be sure if its a rx7 u want i suggest you read up on them at

running costs are expensive, ive read there engines r very easy to flood aswell

Yeah i think i'll stick with it boys...

Ian the scoob is just in need of a load of stuff that costs shit loads and takes up most of my spare cash mate..Petrol cost don't REALLY bother me that much.
