well as some of u know i started on my boot ages ago, and my arches smoothing them into the back bumper well here is a few pics of the outcome cheers 2 beardy who started me off and many weekends doin the rest on my own and a few problems im really pleased, just have 2 be carefull now. here's some of pics from start to finish

before people say the exhaust is getting changed and new number plates will be put on, just have 2 becarefull i dnt catch the back bumper!!

i hope not no, it is really solid so have 2 see, i know other people have done it this way and theres have been fine so just see what happens

with both arches attached?

are your arches blended to the skirts, or under them, so you need to remove them too

Shouldn't you have welded in a plate of steel over the boot lock?

well why wud i want to get the rear bumper off? i dnt plan on change it for a quite a while, yes there blended in and i dnt intend 2 change the car, id sell it like that

alot of things arent planned.......

there are a lot of reasons for a rear bumper to come off

yes you can do this but i decided not 2, if it does crack can jus get it repaired if not buy a buy a boot with a welded plate.

if it gets damaged.....

id rather pay to fix 1 rear bumper over bumper + arches + skirts....

Its your car, just think its not very practicle.

Why didnt vauxhall design it like that in the first place???

thats the choice ive taken i guess!! but theres a lot of many many cars out there that are worse than mine
