I've had my Civic for just over a month now, but hadn't really driven it that quickly due to the roads road here being crap!

The car drives really well, and the best bit is when you hit 5.5K Revs and the VTEC kicks in, god it fcuking roars!! When overtaking cars with it, its so funny looking at peoples faces thinking your engines gonna blow!

Anyways the other night I arranged to take my dad the 150 mile round trip to collect his Saab 900 2.0 Turbo. On the way home we decided to to floor it where poosible, off roundabouts e.t.c to see what they were like in comparison!!
Anways I was most impressed with my Civic, I stuck to his bumper all the way to 130mph At this point he had a bit of edge on mine but mine was still going with another few K revs left!! We had to slow down though due to conditions.

I'm tempted to have a look at what engine mods are available now, definately getting a Road Angel 2 though



N.B. All of the above happened on a private road.

speak to joffrey about a filter for it and you want a VTEC controller

The Floor pan on the Saab 900 is very similar to the one found on a Vauxhall Cavalier.

The Saab 9-3 and the Vectra are the same car bullt in the same factory.

Im not surprised you kept up they are 170bhp and very heavy.

Its like driving a buzzcan i realy dislike the V tec system its just too intense specially on long journeys. When me and my mate drove to Derby I drove up and my mate drove back. Half way up there i was really irritated with it. Felt nice the first few times i took it past 8K tho.

dont bother with vtec controller as it never kicks in as good at lowe revs as oil pressure etc etc is prefect at the vtec cut in point!

good stainless exhaust system inc manifold, hks mushroom filter and you have a lovely sounding car!

i hate the noise civics make with big exhausts etc..... high pitched mess of a noise...

get a nice manifold cand cat back exhauts a AEM 2 filter that houses down into the bumper or a mugen airbox if u loaded, go on hondarevs or civicsports there tell u bets mods
