Ive got my car booked in at a bodyshop (wth a good reputation) to have my rear quarter resprayed from where somebodys keyed it. It goes in on the 26th, and will cost me £160.
My tailgate was also keyed, but I told the bodyshop I was going to keep looking in breakers yards etc for a tailgate, which would be cheaper than another £150ish to get that sprayed aswell.
The breakers and classified section on this site arent coming up with the goods, so I've been getting more quotes now for the tailgate respraying. I phoned up one company, and he claimed that since its a metallic colour (arden blue), theres a chance it wont match up properly to the rest of the car, and I told him I realised this blah bla blah and he said that he could do it for no more than £100, probably about 80.
Im guessing that he will only spray the outside, (which is fine I spose, since the inside isnt scratched or anything), but for this cheap, what else could he be skimping on? could it be a really shit job, and if it is shit, am i entitled not to pay or something, or at least get a discount

the work should be guaranteed so if it fucks up after x ammount of time, if its still under guarantee then take it back

 good to hear cheers mate, im gonna take my car down next week so he can have a proper look, and if he sticks by his £80, im just gonna go for it.
