if you havnt been there two years you cant file for unfair dismissal.

there will more than likly a probationary period, he will have been through all this, he would just do it off the top of his head.

gutted to hear it mate, but unfortuatly without a contract break, you cant really do much. bugger

You can be fairly sacked by one of the following reasons:

1. Incapable of doing the job i.e ill-qualified, incompetent, too sick to do so

2. Poor Conduct or Misconduct

3. Redundancy

4. Statutory Restrictions i.e if continued to employ you it would constitute a statute (health & safety etc)

5. Some Other Substantial Reason i.e Termination of temporary contact

Thats shoot. Can you appeal against it? Also if he had "words" on previous occasions were they documented as surely he would have to prove this. If not good luck with finding another job. It will probably be better than working for him anyway

Exactly, they may be able to terminate your employment during that period but they still have to have a valid reason

aye marc, if i get a job somewhere else soon, let omar/ellen know i'll be in contact asap to try and sort somethin out for them.

At least i managed to get all my leads and my diary out the building yesterday which, legally, should be left behind! Im gonna have to find my contract i think and read up, but so far, its not looking good, tossers. MD wasnt there when i went up yesterday, will try again today.

I'd quite fancy working at vauxhall tbh, but now its gonna be hard to get a job seeing as my last 2 have only lasted 6months a piece
