What do I need apart from this lot to fit a 1.4 16v into my 1.2 8v Corsa B...?

engine
gearbox

- How easy is the engine to fit? Are the engine mounts/driveshafts the same etc?

Cheers

It's hassle and expensive to change the engine when you could simply buy a 1.4 16v Corsa...

well the thing is...I already have a 1.2 8v corsa and can get a 1.4 16v engine and 'box for £100 and would fit it all myself taking away most of the cost

the driveshafts & CV joints are the same on all corsa B's 1.2 8/16V and 1.4 8/16V. Only different if they have ABS or if its a 1.6.

there the same for a 1.6 too

erm.. you need

engine
gearbox
ecu
transponder and chip in the key
fuel pump
fuel lines
exhaust manifold and down pipe
CAT
and either make up and altenator bracket and use the 1.2 8v driverside engine mount or us a 1.4 non pas drivers side engine mount

the other mounts are the same for both engines...

easy conversion to do but i just dont think its worth it really better off finding a 1.6 cos you will get bored of the 1.4 very quickly....
