Not as safe as paying the cash in to their account, or as quick.

Some people are very suspicious of this for some reason....Ive been called a few choice words in the past for wanting to deal this way to which I replied ok i'll send you a cheque but im omitting the account number cos I dont trust you to have it.....thats basically what you are telling me

Very good way to deal so long as the trust is there

I lost a wee bit of cash doing this, blame the post office cos they never asked what I was sending or explained the terms under which I would be screwed if they 'lost' it.....which they did!! I just had to write it off in the end in full knowledge id given a postie somewhere a nice Xmas tip

Yes people find bank transfers dodgy, as they do not like giving out there account details. They think it is like giving out your card number or something.

I had a good argument with someone’s wife off a website about this I wanted to do bank transfer to which she was going mental and calling me a fraudster etc Demanded a cheque to which I said ok but im scoring out the account number on it cos I dont trust you to have it as you dont trust me with yours In the end I told the psycho bitch to fuck off and have a nice day....i'll get my parts from someone else
