millions of people still play 1.6 if that's what you're on about. 80% don't like CS: Source, it's a bit of a joke tbh and yes i do play 1.6 .
if you're talking about pre-steam CS, no you can't because there is no WON system anymore.

you need to get and install Steam, i can't remember the web addy, google it (Steam)
then enter your product key from the Cd to play. Install the games you want, update them all and after about anything from 1-3 hours of all this you're set.

1-3 hours because you ahve to get all the updates for the games, i.e. mainly CS updates and they can be quick or take forever depending on how busy the servers are.

there's many more to come but the servers aren't busy so should be about 45 minutes total i estimate depending on your connection.

i started goin back up.lol its on 4 minutes now and goin down nicely... lol noooway.. more waitin i hate all this waiting buisness.. i get fed up of waiting when playing c.s....im always waiting for the new round 2 start..lol
