Im right up shit creek with no paddle or boyancy aid!
The reason asking is it worth consolidating my outstanding debts (in excess of 17k)? Has anyone done this or is it just me? Anyone know anyone or shall i just carry on struggling with the payments? Im in two minds as to apply for one or just carry on?
No sly comments please aint in the mood for it.

I think thats as good as deffinate that he'll have to pay more in the long run, but it does mean the monthly payments can be reduced.

Most of these companies that do this loan management schemes charge you a silly amount of interest over a long period of time. That 17K will probably end up being 30K

check the rates...you will pay off your debts longer but will be one single managable payment...just make sure you don't take any more debt on once you consolidate the existing debt..
In my opinion it's a good idea if you can keep to the plan and then when all payed your clear etc....

If u do consolidate make sure you don't get yourself in further debt by spending on the cards etc that you free up.
