How to get rid of this? i have just reformatted my hard drive and suddenly when i connect to internet i get this appear as my background. wont go with a new background

Turn off Active Desktop maybe ?

Right click on the desktop and looks through those settings ?

make the settings on your montior smaller its a just a big window open over your desktop, drag it over so you can get to the cross in the corner. If that doesnt work go into settings>control panel>display>background> then set to NONE.

That will remove it but the major problem you has is that your computer is infected by spyware and malware. You will need to run some antispyware software. There are loads about but the best I have found at the minute is the one Andy has suggested the microsoft beta software

hey mate i had that exact same thing on my background, I messed about with it for ages and ages and have never got it to go, I cant change it or delete it dispite wot spy software i used or anything, I dont no how i got ti either, If u find a way to get rid of it gimme a pm as i tried for ages with no luck.

settings and change the desktop as none, then download avg grisoft or ad aware run that and will get rid of the pop up

Giant AntiSpyware is now Microsoft Antispyware. Download SpyBot Search & Destroy which is better.

I got this for free off some pc bloke, tis very good. Although Past couple of times it has struggled to delete stuff as they are in use in the memory or something. Says to restart and then it can get rid of them but it deoesn't. Anyone know why?
