oh im quite happy to believe your car could keep up with an Evo during normal driving. but by the same standard a mk2 fiesta could keep up with an ultima GTR (current world record holder for 0-100-0mph)
just because the evo8 is a fast car (on paper atleast) it DOES NOT mean the he was racing you. understand that some people do drive as the DSA intended, i.e. sensibly

I got a TD Pug but it's a 306. Nice though, but newer than the 205's so it's a bit more updated etc. inside.
Always wanted a 205 but they all seem to have been owned by some 'boy-racer' who thrashes it and doesn't service it. Plus the insurance is high for a 17 year old and thats not just on the gti model
