and broke my front bumper luckily, not much danage at all, the bit of fibreglass which holds the bumper on under the arch trim snapped and the arch trim totally popped off and was lying in the middle of the road (I was doing a 3 point turn)





so, in order for me to repair it, i thought it would be easier to take the bumper off.....



and put the standard one on for the next few days......




its only a small job though, simple enough to do, just had to use the car today so i thought it wud b best to have a bumper on there

Leave it on, then you don't need to worry about attacking anymore kerbs

i dont know i drove past a copper and he didnt turn round and come after me and it was a bike aswell so could have done easily!

I did cable tie my front numberplate back on

i think it is illegal as its potentially very harmful to people if you were to hit them and also the impact to another car would be greater

mine passed an mot with no front bumper as i couldn't get in the mot station


so long as there are no dangerous bits sticking out and you have a numberplate you'll be fine my son

nightmare, done it in the vec when i had it..

as long as there is no sharp edges will be ok to coppers...

could be worse you could have gone to quick over a bridge too fast and land on one wheel while dodgeing a oncoming car in mid air and i think i bent the chasis
