I used to read mbuk few years ago and have a slight recognition of seeing foam innertubes that replace your normal ones, i dont think they were supposed to perform too well but then i only really ride road now and am getting annoyed with punctures, i know theres things like slime for the inside n the extra wall you can get betweenn tyre n tube but has anyone else seen or heard of foam inner tubes?

cheers

yeah, the ride on them were too hard, i think. but for road use, i don't see why they're not used more often.

they have innertubes with self repair slime or whatever its called now.

Ive never heard of these foam tubes but they sound really heavy compared to a normal tube.

Ive always been extremely lucky and have only had 1 puncture i think on my bike, i think better tyres help prevent them aswell

I want to start riding again in the summer aswell
