you book some time off and then they ask you to work 
Booked thursday and friday off for a mega long weekend and they was meant to be getting my hair cut thursday morning and sorting some stuff on my car then getting the train to leeds for the weekend.
They have asked me to work in Birmingham thursday

That's what I do  I had to come in monday afternoon (last week) and I booked friday afternoon off when I got it altho I could've probably had all of friday off if i'd have asked on thursday
