I've got some kind of infection to both my hands. From the rist right down to my fingers is all dry, bright red and at times bleeds. Not good when you knock it as it's bloody painfull. Tried to make an appointment for the doctors but they keep saying we are fully booked. Anyone got any ideas what i can put on them? Been the chemist who said i would need to go the doctors who would send for blood tests but no much i can do if i cant get an appointment.

It started like a rash but now the rash is behind all the cracking.

Sounds like ecsema (sp)
You need some sort of cream for it like dermovate. Go to the doctor not the hospital

i had that when it was cold (-15C) in philadelphia. My hands were wet and they ended up cracking so bad that they would bleed all the time and i could barely move my hands, water burns, creme burns but i rubbed Gillete shaving creme into it for 3 days and it went away

If i can't get into the doctor this week i'm going the hospital. Because one llives alone, it's quite hard to keep your hands out of washing up liquid, bleach etc.

hospital won't do much mate. Shove you into dermatology or w/e it's called and give you more E45 and tell you not to wash it off.....

just put e45 on it, stop moaning about the pain. it should get better within 2 days. And try to avoid water, try wearing a glove when doing the dishes?
My mate had the same thing.

sounds like severe eczema or dermatitis
avoid anything with perfumes in it cos thats what makes it sting
put warm olive oil on your hands before bed and a pair of rubber/latex gloves on so it can soak in and stop the pain
and go to the docs, tell them its an emergency
