Had a slight buckle in my wheel, took it to an alloy refurb place recommended by a couple of people in the area.
Charged me fucking £30 to get rid of this small buckle in the wheel which took him all of 10mins
 
Changed my brake pads and as my wheel was done i put the alloys back on for the summer.
Put the front left wheel (the fixed one) on the rear right
Put the front right wheel on the rear right.
As the front tyres had 2-3000 miles left in them thought id wear all the tyres down evenly.
As i bolted the alloys back on i looked at the back wheels and thought they didnt look that straight, checked if i done them up tight enough, lowered the car down off the jack.
This is what the alloys look like
Rear left (looks ok)
Rear right (FUK ME) is it me or does that look abnormal (this is the one that was supposed to be fixed)
Do you lot agree with the that this looks abnormal, shall i take it back and complain he done a shit job.

The actual alloy is flush to the hub so i cant understand why it looks like its on the bonk so much?

I dont see how a buckle could cause it to sit like that, tryed another wheel on that side to see if it sits the same ?

have u tried moving it slightly, somethimes when u drop the car of the jack it sits uneven untill u move it and take off the handbrake?

Also do you have spigot rings ( used to centre the rim on the hub )

Thats nothing to do with the wheel being buckled as that much camber caused by a bent wheel would make the car shake about massively and you would also be able to see it wobbling in your mirror as you're driving.
You sure the back didn't take a knock as well at some point?
And yeah - rotate those tyres.

check the stub-axles...
you could of buckled/bent that when you did the wheel...

The wheel was on the front, i swapped them to the back as it was recommended by the guy who fixed the wheel.

Looks liek your rear axle is bent, plus you having the tyres on the wrong way round wont help, as there rotational!
best bit is get it 4 wheel alligned to see if your rear camber is really that far out

I have swapped the wheels around and took photos of what it looks like now, also taken photos under the car to see if u can see any damage to make it bend like that?

The incorrect rotation has only been like that for 10miles, would it cause any damage just covering 10miles

From the photos i dont think its as bad as it was, what do u think? If i took it to the garage to check what shall i ask them to check for?

I dont think your should have swapped a front for a rear i bet if u put the other one back on where it was origainally u will see there ok, think its the way its worn down on the otherside

i swap my fronts to the rear quite regularly, get more wear from tyres then

take for a drive and park on a flat road, that one has camber, somewhere like a carpark and take some more pics,
get a long STRAIGHT lenght of wood, hold across the back wheel so it sits flush on both edges and see if this is the same on the front as well,
you nee 1 degree positive or negative toe in/out on the fronts and the rears set parallel which they should be from factory!
Take to a 4 wheels allignment place and they will do it for you, garage wont be able to do it!!

It even says in the vauxhall book you should swap the front tyres with the back ones, but yeah i can see where your coming from might leave it for a couple of miles and see what happens. Car feels fine when driving so....

if you do more miles you may find the rear will be scrubbing out on that camber, its silly how much 1 degree makes a difference!
£30 for 4 wheel allignment, tracking, toe, castor and slip angles to be set up!!
