anyone got any methods of removing an oil filter without a proper tool or chain grip? Just my car is outside with no oil in it and the filter is a little tight!
I know this should be in the help zone but figured it's more likely to be seen in here.

Cheers

i bought one of them bendy affairs from halfords i thought as it was more expensive it would be better, thing was crap, the grip on the oil filter was simply a rubbery bit of foam which when a little oil got in it lost all its grip, tried and tried thing wouldnt come off then a neighbour offered me his chain one which was the cheaper one in halfords i ignored, came off a piece of piss. Couldnt spear it with a screwdriver cus it was on my missus seicento and they is bugger all room to get any access to the filter.
