just got can back from body shop, had bonnet and wings resprayed.

is it ok to wash / polish it? didnt know if it would ruin the paint or something?

how long was it since the lacquer coat/last coat went on? they shud have flattened and polished it surely...

they have polished the paint they did yes, but the rest fot he car is dirty.

paint was on on on tuesday/wednesday

10 DAYS is usually best, use a 100% cotton cloth and super resin auto glym polish or u will get the dredded swirl effect.

i was told i was fine to wash/polish mine straight away, so best bet is to ask the bodyshop who painted it.
