just a quick question about speeding

How many points and fine do you reckon for going 66mph in a 40?

Thats what I thought, but my mate says he has to go to court because of it. He rang them up they said 3 points and a fine isn't enough

yup, 3 points,
count himself lucky it wasn't in a 30mph limit, then he'd be looking to goto court/ban.

I reckon it was in a 30mph as why does he need to attend court?

because of the speed , if hes done 66 in a 30 then to his lisence

no, it may be 6points. as its more than 50% of the limit. if u wer doing less than 60 it wud be 3 points. but ul probably still only get 3
