Aight, well i'm driving around in my dads focus at the moment, and i can either sell my 1.2 16V SXI Corsa :

and then buy the focus:

The focus is an 1800 turbo diesel & its done 72000. Its really nice to drive, and its alot easier to drive than my corsa.

I'm interested in your opinions coz i really don't know what to do.

if i was to keep the focus, u think it would be worth a set of 17" split rims and slammin?

I'm not too sure bout the above, but a few people said that they would.

Would it look tacky etc?

Thanks for any suggestions...

just gonna see how good it is on fuel 1st. My mate had a diesel 206 HDI and that was nice with wheels etc. i kno a couple of people who have 'modded' diesels. Its what it looks like really innit.

Can you get these chipped? and can you turn the turbo up?

yes apparently it even increases fuel economy, and afaik it depends on how new it is as you can on mechanical 306 td's but not on hdi's but i suppose you could ring around and find out

I had a 1.8D Focus until someone decided they liked it too and had off with it Really nice to drive and not too bad a fuel. Mine was an 03 plate Ghia model with a set of Ford Focus alloys. Really slow around town but motorway had loads of power top end, got had by my Dad in his 2 litle Diesel Picasso though Had more power than him top end so managed to keep up

I was referring to the focus but just saying that with the newer 306's you can't turn up the turbo like you could on the older ones. Mainly reffering to the fact that the Focus will have a newer engine more like a 306 2.0HDi than a 306 1.9TD so you may not be able to get turbo turned up but pretty sure you can chip them
