10/40 or 15/40 when it ticks like buggery.

:S put some 15w40 in and its making hell of a racket, thought it may just be the oil being to thin. will get some 10w40 from vaux.

causeit's thicker when it's cold it takes a bit longer to pump round to thr tappets and shut the thing up. some good 10w-40 semi is what you are after.

Mine taps for a couple of seconds then I can't hear much of anything over the exhaust...

im a bit worried that tthe engine may be fucked, was running for about 3 minutes, thought this would be enough time for the oil to get up top, im hoping its just cos the oil is the wrong weight, engine was idlng really high as well, about 2.5k
