after working for porsche i would never own any car they have made in the last 15 years, say in and been out in varoious models i think ppl who rave about how well there built are having a laugh
they are no better and IMO worse put together than jap sports cars, they have so many reliablilty problems its untrue, the labour rates at dealers and specalists is amazing
on the subject of the 986 boxter there not fast, ok they are good for a country road blat as they do handle well, and IMO the interior has dated badly, the ratlle and squeak like fuck
save your money now, and later done the line when its goes wrong and get something else
