Hi not been on in a while been snowed under wit new job n all. Anyway had some more money come my way cos of it and decided to upgrade my stereo.
I was previously runnin 2 x 12" JBL 100w subs from a phoenix gold amp, kenwood 6x9's and alpine type E door compnents.
I have now changed the subs to 2x12" Alpine type R's  running from a Magnat phantom monoblock amp (wired parallel as amp only has 1 channel) i wanna get some decent components up front and amp them with the phoenix gold amp. I have looked at the Type R components to go wit the subs. Do these fit in a Corsa C wit the speaker adaptor pods?? just the magnet on them is huge. I have been told tho that the new Type S range is a more responsive speaker and still very good.
Also should i get Type R or summin bassy 6x9's or ditch them as i wil have amped and fairly powerful door speakers.
Also any suggestions on other components around the 80 - 100 quid mark which would be better than the alpines are greatly welcome.
