I want to flush both of my doors on my corsa b but got told it would fail the mot is this true?or is there sumway round this!

i want to do this also, and i'v read this aswell in the haynes corsa modifying manual, but there are a few people on here with it done, so i'm guessing there is some way around it!

tvrs have flushed doors and they dont fail the damn mot

nar it's not illegal, dont even have to have buttons will pass an MOT if u go into the station with windows down, seing at they can just use the interior handles to open the door...

Car doesnt even have to have doors in the UK to be legal (provided they are welded up)

This looks fookin mint, was thinkin of havin this done to min e when it goes into the bodyshop but not sure. Whats used to open the doors then, does everyone just wire up a solenoid to their alarm remote ???

Yeah thats how my C is done, one of key fob buttons opens drivers door... and passenger one is manual from inside...

Alot of folk just opt for TVR style buttons under the wing mirrors of each door linked to a solenoid...

i have got popping doors on my corsa, easy to fit cus soon i'll be having doors smoothed off.

solenoids and key fobs are the only options realy, SOME MOT stations could/will fail you for doing on the key fob as you are supposed to have a physical way of entering the car most cases a button!
