Just bought a new computer and its got onboard graphics

Can anyone recommend anything? PCI Express please

yeah ive had a look but theres so much to choose from.

How do i tell if the computer is PCI or PCI express?

wud be better if u knew if it had AGP... i wud think it shud if its a new system

PCI Express is faster than AGP

PCI are the white slots about 4 inches long, AGP are the brown slots of similar size, and PCI Express slots are usually black -- the 1X slots are about an inch long and the 16X slots are huge

I'd personally up my budget to around £100 and get a Geforce 6600 based card of a ATI X600 based card... at least those have some poke for newish games.

Or just settle for an NVidia 6200 but don't expect decent game frame rates
