i have come to the conclusion that the word "sleeper" is used to much and too freely on this site... everything is a bloody sleeper these days..
you have a 2.0XE in a corsa GSi = Sleeper
a LET in a corsa merit = sleeper
TBH i think the best sleepers are corsas that are kev'd up.. these are the cars that people least expect to have powerful engines... everyone thinks people have only spend money on the outside and ICE than the engine (this is mainly thanks to MAxpower/FastCar etc that show all these cars)
so all this sleeper poo should cut down or stopped.... yes some are sleepers, but i wouldnt use that word on a corsa EVER

i would say at least a c20xe in a very nearly standard corsa, except maybe wheels and suspension, black bumpers make a great sleeper too

The amount of people that think i've got got a standard GSI with the 1.6 is what makes my car the "sleeper" for me, not one of them know that i've got a big engine under the bonnet

well that goes with most of the modified cars as well.. people always thought i had a 1.2 8v in snowy.. which i did but i would have had a LET in there

A sleeper is a vehicle, totally bog standard with no mods, expected by most roads users to chug along merily as it still looks factory fucked. Yet it has an engine capable of blowing a grannies hat off when you whizz past.

If you see a modded car, you expect the engine to have atleast been played with, whether it's a 1.4 or a 2litre etc...
Now the people who barry their cars, with a shite engine are merely retards, nothing else.
