i wouldnt go for pipercross. started mine one morning and it had zero power and sounded like a tractor. checked all the connections thinking it had fallen off but everything was tight on. took it off and everything was fine

K&N mate. i have had both running on mine. K&N gave no flatspots, sounded better. PiperX was quiet and my fuel consumption seemed to increase.

K&N With heat shield is way forward

I suspect this was due to you booting it every where in an attempt to hear it

i have a k&n on mine and my dads always used k&n and we have nothing bad to say about them! But then again i have never had a piperx so......
