after fitting a new back box (rage yes i know) and cleaning my induction kit, my 1.6 16v seems to be a hell of a lot pokier between 3-4 k rpm, infact i havent gone over 4k rpm for about a week is this normal, i changed from a sportex exhaust to a sebring straight thru centre and a rage squared oval back box, the car is also a lot more quiet and feels smoother to drive, i'm thinking money well spent

and sound about right a decent system and a clean induction kit does make the car breathe better and as sibria says get a inlet 400 quid for dblias one from regal will make the engine run alot better, then a mainfold and ecu remap and yr there maybe cams

got throttle bodies sat at home mate, not got chance or money to put em on or set em up yet
