How do i work out how many square metres i need of flooring I've measured the rooms in inches but how do i convert this into square metres

Might as well get all the flooring now in the sales although i won't get around to fitting for a couple of months

width (in inches) x width (in inches) = ??

?? x 6.4516 = however many square CM

Get each side of the room in inches and mutliply by 2.54, then continue as normal. Or just measure in CM in the first place.
