Just fit smoked rear lights and replace the wheels with some lightweight 15" anthracites and tune the engine

Go for standard rear lights - trust me, after 3 years of playing with Lexus lights, standard lights are a refreshing change
Colour code bumper tops and door handles, remove the side strips down the doors, fit some subtle sideskirts like Irmscher, GSi or Postert.
Go down a size in alloy wheels.

Vauxhall were really doing a good job on rear lights in the mid-late 90s.
Corsa B, Tigra, Astra 3, Astra 4, Vectra inc facelift - all symmetrical and suited the style of the car.
Vectra C has shit rear lights, as does the Astra H.
