I've been told i need some wilder cams but i dont wanna do any piston replacement, you got any idea's what I should go for
+
Exhaust manifold is it worth changing it for an aftermarket type as the 1 i have is blowing

cant do much cam-wise on a 2 litre XE without pocketed pistons

was looking at sbd exhaust manifold and maybe some matching cams seeing as the kent 264's ive got r very mild

mmmm maybe just change the exhaust manifold then i guess been told its a major restriction (SP) in my setup

The SBD fast road manifold is good for about 190bhp and costs 254 quid delivered, after that you need the dearer one, not sure how much that one is but wouldnt expect to see much change from 400 quid.!!

how'd you get 200+ on std manifold and cams...
264 is pretty much it on std pistons....

i got 205 on std manifold and the kent 264's and the car was running very ruff
adam what would i go for. sbd have told me one of there exhaust manifolds around 450 is a good replacement just need some matching cams just dont wanna replace the pistons

you cant go too far on the std pistons,
i tried 285's and blew my engine twice, fucked piston, valves, valve guides.
so wouldnt recommend going any further than a fast road cam(which is what i take it youve got ) on std pistons

the inlet ports have been matched for the throttle bodies. the exhaust manofild is blowing hense me needing to change it, so while dont i get for an upgrade
