I've got a 1.2 8v Corsa 1996 it is extremely slow compared to my mates nova (again a 1.2 8v) flat out I can do 70mph goes to 80-90 downhill... The nova can do 80 no problems, and hes had roughly 108 on a small hill  ( I know you shouldnt count hills but you get my point  )
Is this really normal?? I miss my 2ltr Astra lol

My 1.2 goes about 90 n down hill it goes 95-100 dependin on size of it lol

mine wont go past 90 and thats a defo, it sounds like its about to explode at about 80 lol

mine goes faster now had a new exhaust n 17s instead of 18s

no its got an exhaust and 16s and its lowered apart from that like theres no other mechanical mods

they were on car when bought it....
mines lowered by 40mm
they kept crackin rear arch n didnt like them so bought some 17s
prob is they r just sat in wardrobe along with about £2k of ICE lol

well i bought a new tyre 3days b4 takin them off n 2 other about 3mths b4 takin them off.....
i'll get some pics 4 u as theyarent any use 2 me as dont want them
they r the kosei sport seneka (5spoke)
with 2 centre caps... 2 got lost when bought new tyres but demon tweeks sell them as enquired at time

Thats just how it is Jay, the 1.2 8 valve is a pretty gutless engine. It's only got 45 bhp and the Corsa is a heavy car so it ain't gonna pull much. Plus the 5th gear in them is just kinda of a cruisin gear and you'll only get the same top speed maybe just a tiny bit more than you would in 4th gear.

n i know i'd b pulled for speedin or crash if had 2.0ltr put in....
might just stick a 1.6 in it as i'm sure ppl sellin them on here who have upgraded to a 2.0ltr

Its all VIBE n waitin 2 go in car....
just waitin for my 4th n last amp to arrive then puttin it all in.... in total its cost me nearly £4.5k but thats cus havin 4 tvs in it n also 4 amps lol
