my amp-
700 W x 1 @ 4 Ohms RMS
1100 W x 1 @ 2 Ohms RMS
i've been told that if powering two to look for about 600RMS each.
on car audio direct they have 600rms RE subs SE10V4, but they are dual 4ohm, n im after dual 2ohm.

Dual 4 Ohm
Dual composite 2 piece cone
Rubatek foam surround
Cast aluminium basket
Tork-Tite terminal
4 layer flatwound aluminium voice coil
FEA optimized TG technology motor structure
Triple stack magnets Progressive spider
Wrap around rubber gasket
600wrms power handling
Cant seem to find them anywhere.. Would these be more suitable then, if they exist.

not really ideally u need an amp that will run 1 ohm or u need subs that are dual 4 and 1000w RMS or 2 dual 2 ohm and 500w rms each.

so if RE make an SE10V4 sub thats dual 4ohm
does this mean they could make a SE10V2 thats dual 2ohm?
it doesnt matter if the Rms is to high does it, rather that than too low
If you think this "SE10v2" is wat i want, how do i know if it exists and where do i get it from... cant find it any where?
loo_goblin, yes im lookin at RE's mate, just need to know if the right one exists..

Not true richie...
RE are just about the only brand that WILL make subs with ANY voice coil option you want for a few quid extra.
Ring CAD and speak to them matey, they will be able to organise you a pair of the 600w RMS subs, withdual 2 ohm coils im sure, think its £50 extra a sub tho, and ob you have to wait for them to be custom made.
