Just wired my amp up today and it doesnt seem to be turning itself on!!!
i know the amp work cos i have tried it in my brothers car and it is fine but just seems to be in mine!
There is power from the power cable, the earth is fine, think it may be sumthing to do with my remote cable but not sure where, connection in the back of the HU is fine, i have got a pioneer DEH-7600 HU, do i need to turn the amp on at all on this or wot?
any ideas please???

Uhm..yeah sounds to me like remote wire could be dodgy, or dodgy connection somewhere??

to test if its your remote cable take a piece of wire from your positive connection on your amp to the remote input and it should turn on.
If it doesnt then its something else.

defo sounds like ur remote cable mate give me a ring if its not that

hmm, my amp turns on when the ignition is switched on, and turns off when the key is pulled out. Sub comes on when head unit is switched on...
Loo_goblin its really quite simple when you think about it..I bought an Amp wiring kit from my local Motorworld and it has 2 piss easy diagrams of how to wire it all up etc...

i installed my amp today, got the correct power cable from thoday and it werent turning on because of a shoddy earth terminal, got it sorted and sounds great!

just installed my amp with a new remote cable and it is all working fine, ohh this sub is so loud!!!!
Its a 15" OXYGEN sub by the way, would highly reccomend there stuff to any 1!!!
