i probably know the answer to this, but just checking anyways...
yesterday i left work and me speedo basically dips randomly like it's losing it's signal (it's an electric one, not cable) i.e. i'll be doing 70 and every now and again it'll drop down a bit and go right back up again...
now does that tell you:
a - faulty transducer (gearbox sender unit)
b - bad earthing
z - both...
