Bought the corsa for my misses in the end.

1994 1.2 8v Swing
91k Miles
4 speed gearbox
Owned by mother then daughter from new
Practically FSH (no stamps she lost the book, but loads of receipts of services)
Red
Interior could do with a little cleaning up, sunroof handle doesnt spring back and theres scratches on the door handle (inside) other than that its fine.
Very slight rust on the inside of the door (B pillar its called???)
Quite a deep scratch on the bottom of the passenger door about 4inch long
Slight rust all along the bottom of the bonnet (above the vx badge)
Other than them 2 places there was no other rust.
Checked the dip stick, oil was at correct level, oil looked good.
Checked under the oil cap, no white stuff or nothing, looked ok.
Checked the Gearbox, seemed very smooth.
Checked the clutch, again nothing wrong with it.
Checked VIN plates they matched up
Also checked under the arches and under the car no rust anywhere.
Checked all the electrics

Anything else i missed????????????????

All in all a good decent car for my misses and i would say a good purchase at £600

Now shes debating whether to have TPFT insurance for £670 or FC for £930. What would you do?

Yea its a slight crack, with slight rust.

At the end of the day it was only £600 so you cant be fussy.

Other that the car looks alright.

how do you mean 'spring back'

good price though!

go for fully-comp insurance, better in the long-run even tho the car is only worth £600 you will still get some return if anything bad happens!

The handle for the sunroof is just hanging freely, the handle doesnt spring back and rests on the roof (if you know what i mean)

Might just need a new spring,

I hate insurance companies. Anybody else? Think about the extra your paying for fully comp then add the excess for a claim and take it away from the cost of the car! Its madness!
