I'm not sure what's funnier; what you said or the quality of your English.

Yeah written warning in the very least.

The last time it happened (christmas eve) the guy gave his dog a good kicking.
I don't care to speculate which dog is the more violent against people.
Its instinct. The dog owners are clearly careless idiots who care only for the welfare of their stinky dumb animals. Not all owners will read nevermind take notice of a sign, and for the ones that don't your ducks will still be eaten.
Move the ducks. IMO.

Move the ducks ... to where? All our land is fenced off, the dog walked through the gate, down the path to our house, past the front of our house, past the stables ... and down to where the ducks where.
The guy ... stood there and watched his dog sniff round our cars and at the front of the house, then the dog ran over to the ducks and started savaging them.
But the time Tim had run out and grabbed the duck, the owner was stood by my car whislting for his dog to come back.
Tim takes the duck, put its into a box, see's the extent of the damage (back end of the duck ripped to shreds) says that its going to have to be put down, then the owner takes his dogs and quickly leaves our property!!!!
Everyone else is stood there, in shock, with half a dead duck ... not knowing what we can do.
Next time i wont hesitate to shoot the dog, i've checked my rights with the police and i can use necessary force. If i attempt to grab the dog then it will bite me, so i will shoot it.

if someone shot my dog , i dont care what it did , i would make their life hell. no 2nd thought .
but i keep my dog on a lead as its a little shit and would run off .
personally i would catch it (if possible ) and call the police saying its just killed your animals .
or just buy a pitbull , probe its ass everynight , a good kick before bedtime , and a dusting of cocaine in its meal while keeping it in a cage , then when you see the other dog , Release!

Twice now people have been walking along the canal (not through our land, just runs alongside one of our fields) with their dogs (not on leads) and their dogs have come onto our land and attack some of our livestock (well ... ducks) the last time the duck had to be put down, this time Richies mum has just taken it to the vets.
Am i right in thinking ... i could shoot the dog if its attacking our animals, as we live on private land, and the dog would be trespassing?
You can't do shit. What they are doing in illegal, but if you tell the Police or council they wont do shit. Don't shoot at them, you'll get in shit, just ride a quiad bike around with the silencer removed from the back box near to where they are walking, will scare the shit out of them, they'll make a fusss and you can tell them to fuck off your land - it's such a satisfying feeling.
