I am considering one of those. Heard they are quite fast and can actually rival the 1.8? dont know how true that is though

the 1.8 wasnt much faster, nothing a chip cant fix, can get them to 130bhp easy ive read, 1.8 is 125 standard BUT is more on insurance and fuel is no where neer as good.

only external difference is the badges on back and it has silver not red calipers, nothing a paint brush wont fix

test drove a 2.0tdi sri asta 5 door, it was shite in comparason, thought it would have been a good car but was crap

why a five door? they look rubbish compared to the three, and in my opinion 3 doors hold their value better,.

That CDTI looks awesome on soft stars if those are the alloys

I’m planning on getting either a 1.8 SRI or 1.7 CDTI. Unsure about having an oil burner though, the diesel unit looks much more tunable than petrol at the minute, a chip alone could increase the bhp for a few ton and as standard there’s plenty of torque.

I'll bet in a few years though there will be plently of aftermarket add-on's for the 1.8 unit.

Test drive I reckon
