But is there a set speed your banned for going over the speed limit?

i.e doing 60 in 30 or doing 70 in a 50?

is it not 6 points for goin over 50% than the limit. like 45 in a 30? i may be wrong tho.

and over 100 u will usually get a ban, but depends on the day really.

There are guidelines and also historical judgements but no, there is no set penalty for a particular speed.

There are people who have been banned for going a couple of mph over 100, and there was one guy who got off going 130 as he argued that his car was in good order and the road was clear.

It goes to court and you look sorry and see what happens.

not always, mate got caught at 105.6mph and got off with 3 points

think its anything over double the limit USUALLY ends u up in a ban, ie 60/30 80/40 and then over 100

I expect a ban for 101 mph.
