Left liverpool at 6am, was pissing down but road were empty so was giving it some anyways got onto the m6 north and was plodding along just got to before the services before junction 33 (near lancaster) hit a massive standstill of traffic was about 7am by now, turns out i'd picked the worst day ever to go north There was a massive crash involving a chemical tanker going over the central reservation etc so they closed between junction 33-34, you would think this may be an hour interuption maybe? It was 11.30 before I got back on after junction 34 took me a fucking hour to get about 1200 yards OFF the motorway by junction 33 and there's literally one way to carry on north through lancaster got to glasgow by 1.15 had a meeting in the 'arches bar' to do my annual review had a pint and a burger then went to our offices for 5 minutes then went home left at 3.30 got home by 6.45 so 7.15 hours there 3.15 back

Car was a hire car had to go for my review there for a couple of reasosn:

A. my old boss (mate) has moved up there
B. I wanted a day out the office
C. I've never been to scotland and fancied a drive up there

Must be a curse on J33! I went down there on boxing day to the Blackburn game and hit miles of queues of traffic there as there had been a 5 car pile up!
