bought a cat back system, jus wondering whats involved in fitting it?
do i need to take hacksaw to old one to get it off?

u need to cut the old one off a certain distance from the centre silencer to the cat (see Haynes manual) generally speaking though just hold up ure new centresilencer and box to it to judge where it will need cutting in order for the new piece to go on it , then chop the pipe off and fit it on using exhaust clamps.... then put it in place on the bungs .etc

I'll give you a bit of advise, unbolt it from the manifold and take the whole system off, makes it easier to work on off the car, then get the new part welded or clamped on and bolt it back onto the manifold. *remember to fit the backbox last, after the system is back on*
