Made a profit on my old Citroen ZX 16v, only because it was sold to a 17yr old who couldnt wait to get his hands on his first quick car

Other than that ive lost £££`s over the years on cars tbh.

Lost about 6k on Corsa after 2 years and about 7k on the MR2 after owning 2 years!

Works both ways you have to be in the right position at the time with no major fuckups to make money on a car.........much did you make on suzi Adam

i did on the corsa i brought for 3800 and sold for 4800 but spent about 9K on it in the year and half i had it so i guess not.

lost about 12 thou in 1 nite when my bmw and clio got torched,,insurance was on the fto so didnt get a penny back,,apart from that just the usual lost after owning them

Yes, I have recently started buying old corsa models, reconditioning the shell with welding and replacing panels, 2litre'ing them and selling them on, mainly as a hobby, but I can't keep all the cars obviously, it would be insane.

My mate made loads on Saxo Vtr's...

He cudnt be arsed working for a bit so he sold his car went the auctions and overall got 10 VTRs over 6mths and made average 500 notes on each!!!

He now has a 182 clio......

i no someone who makes a living off this, the other day he brought a car for £9000 and sold it the veyr next day for 14,000. My boyfriends brother. hes a cheeky fucker, but he gets his cheap cos he works for audi so they give him all the trade ins real cheap, an M reg audi A4 for like £600!! and in nice condition. nice job if u can get it!
