Right, the time has come for me to buy a new car. Will be having a browse round the dealerships next thursday, but to be honest I have NO IDEA on what I want...the only thing I know is that it has to be new or nearly new (03/04/05..less than 10k etc).
The car must also be under £14k. What car would you go for if you were in my situation?
Thanks. Really need all the help/inspiration I can get!

What about something like a few year old saab turbo.
They are sleeper cars as my mate has a 900 2.0 turbo.
Dont handle amazingly but they are fast

Thats an idea. What are these new then? Don't think I could pick a new one up for under 14k? Or could I?
Will look into that Saab turbo too...Saab and Skoda have really changed their image now..

You can get a stripped out brand new race version for £12995, think in jap performance mag theres a dealer that has 3 in stock at moment 14-15k.

Correct choice - 130 brake standard, 45mpg, highly tunable and reliable.
Also beats a cooper s round a track as jeremy clarkson showed.
