who do VW have? mainly because i may be rebuilding a 2.9 corrado lump and i need to know where to get bits from (not VW, even with staff discount its very expensive)

So if you know where to get bits from standard and uprated (like oversized pistons) let me know

im more looking at a worse case senario with this motor.. (new head, and rebore plus full gasket set and bearings)

and exchange lump comes to me at £2300 with discount.. and thats too much

get an exchange head from vw or bigboystoys

gasket set and bearings from vagparts

rebore who ever you chose TBH

pistons? i have not got a clue of where to get bits for VWs outside of work tis bad.. but i could make myself a fari bit of cash on this car if the damage aint too bad

maybe, ill run the engine in for 500 miles and flog it, seen some crap ones go for just under £3k, so with a full rebuild i may get a good return. may keep it never know, but knowing me itll be a mirical if it ever gets rebuilt
