At the moment i have two physical disks with an install of Windows XP Pro on each...therefore i get a list of operating systems on boot.

Disk one is used for DJ'ing software only and nothing else

Disk two is for everyday use e.g the internet and stuff

Would i be able to re-partition my "everyday use" drive and put another OS on the new partition?

i'm just asking before i attempt it incase its not possible

Fanx

no thats what you SHOULD do
I do music production and i should really have another partition for it, but ive just tweaked XP to the limits and use seperate accounts and store all my music program files/samples etc on another disk anyways.....but its not exactly ideal, but hey

no, i use fruityloops mainly - but also use protools, cubase etc and a bit of outboard gear. Just recently got myself some KRK Rokit 8 monitors (flat response speakers).

But im taking music tech, or sound technology at LIPA (hopefully) for a career as a sound/recording engineer - but have you just started getting into it?
