Are the 1.4 16v calipers alot bigger than the 1.0 12v ones or are they the same?

there wouldtn be much difference in it,
go for the 2ltr 16v ate calipers!
Can get them for about £100 including pads and discs new if you speak to lee mitchell

Agree with Brad, you'll only upgrade again later on, and they wont cost you much more than 1400 16v (Sports)

if you're gonna bother uprating your disks, the next in line should be the 2.0 ate calipers and disks .
anything less is a waste of time.

yeah, even the 1.6 Sport calipers and discs are crud, even though they are the same width as 2.0 ones, ATE calipers are so much better.

Astra GTe ones are good. can pick them up second hand quite cheap
