yes

8v is 1 cam
16v is 2 cams

that engine is C14NZ (SPI) which I blew up countless times

well my GSi is certainly alot quicker than the old corsa!

the old corsa, at best, would get upto 110 on the speedo while on a flat road, and about 120 down a good enough hill (had 125 once, but soon followed by a loud bang)

also took about 12-secs to get to 60, but was timed a few times doin it in just under 11 seconds...

is the 1.4 16v corsa quite quick cos i have been looking at car stats and the 1.4 16v corsa does 0-60 in the same time as some 2 litres (lagunas, mondeos etc)

Remember the 8v engine comes in single point and multi point injection. The MPI is listed as same power output as 16v (90hp). Can anyone confirm?

8v MPI is 82 bhp IIRC
