Sleeping last night - my PC switched off.

I suddenly heard some beeps and stuff and noticed my pc was booting up???? Is there a ghost, or are pc's able to switch themselves on? Did this the other day too.

could be Wake Up On Lan, dodgy power cable, maybe a setting in the bios somewhere to boot up. Blah Blah Blah.
