That has a solid back seat.

My GSi has a solid back seat and i have seen Calibra leather in Corsas with spilt rear seats.

Just wondered if anyone managed to make a bracket to hold it in or something?

we did this in a mates car, basically we welded a plate across the back for support, and bolted them down.
His install covers it all up and there pretty safe

what happened to the cage?

just get the split seat frame from a corsa with split seats and bolt it onto the rear left side seat belt mount. hey presto.
